The Optimist Christmas Breakfast
December 17th 7:30-9:00am
The Optimist Club of Arlington has a simple but powerful mission: to bring out the best in our youth and our community. Throughout the year, our members are proud to support programs that encourage education, leadership, sportsmanship, and service. From youth sports and scholarships, to essay contests, oratorical programs, and community events like our Christmas tree sale, everything we do is driven by one goal, helping young people in Arlington grow, succeed, and believe in their future.
The Christmas breakfast is one of our favorite traditions because it allows us to pause, reflect, and say “thank you” to the people who make Arlington such a special place to live.
We are especially honored to recognize and thank the elected officials, school principals, members of the School Board, County Board, and our Arlington police and fire officers who attended. Their leadership, dedication, and daily service have a profound impact on our community—particularly on our youth. Whether it’s in the classroom, in our neighborhoods, or through thoughtful policy and public safety, they help create the stable, supportive environment that allows young people to thrive.
The Optimist Club could not fulfill its mission without strong partnerships, and we are grateful for the collaboration, support, and shared commitment to Arlington’s families.
Thankful for the season, for this community, and for the people who work everyday to make Arlington a better place.
Thank you again for joining us, and we wish you all a joyful and meaningful holiday season.
